Open a lot's datalogs and get capability, Gage R&R, site and tester correlation, and a qualification verdict in one window, with PDF and Excel reports.

  • Test & yield: histograms, box plots, I-MR charts, bin Paretos, wafer maps, cross tables, Cp/Cpk and Pp/Ppk against a 1.67 goal.
  • Measurement systems: Gage R&R to AIAG MSA 4th edition (ANOVA and Average & Range), attribute agreement and kappa.
  • Correlation: reference vs qualification by file, tester, site or operator, with an editable shift criterion. One-way ANOVA with Tukey-Kramer.
  • Reliability & qualification: HTOL, TC, THB/HAST and HTSL readpoint drift per unit with known-good-unit correction, verdict per stress and lot, failure Pareto and fishbone, FIT, acceleration, LTPD and Weibull calculators.
  • Characterization & limits: pool skew-lot corners and temperatures, remove clamped readings and outliers, and set new mean ± 6σ limits you can edit, with old vs new results side by side.
  • Shmoo: VDD × frequency shmoos straight from STDF or ATDF datalogs, composite and per die, with Vmin and Fmax trip points, holes and an operating-box check.
  • Wafer sort: wafer maps where bin 1 is neon green and every reject bin has its own colour, matched to the bin Paretos.
  • Data tools: merge STDF files from different testers and byte orders into one file; add more files to an open analysis at any time.

Reads STDF V4 (.stdf, .std, .gz, .bz2) from Teradyne, Advantest, Chroma and other testers, ATDF, plus CSV, TXT, LOG and Excel datalogs. No file-size limit: ten 25 MB datalogs open in about a minute.

New: ChipmATE Community, free in your browser. Open an STDF file (.stdf, .std, .stdf.gz) and see yield, hard and soft bins, yield per site, the wafer map and statistics with Cpk for every test, then export a report or CSV. The file is read on your PC and never uploaded. Installs as an app on Chrome and Edge, works offline, and opens .stdf files with a double-click.

AgapATE

Test program converter and tester emulator for WindowsEngineering software
Early access · pilot teamsWindows 10 / 11Works offlinev0.25

Move a test program to a new tester, and prove it still works before tester time is booked. Its name joins the Filipino agapay, helping someone along, with ATE.

  • Convert: test programs between tester families, starting with Teradyne IG-XL and Chroma, each test marked Auto, Review or Hand code, with a report of every change.
  • Emulate: run the program on virtual units before the tester is free: bins, yield, test time per test and STDF out.
  • Verify: the same units through the source and converted program, golden-unit correlation, a release check and program checks.
  • Board checker: the load board or probe card against the program, straight from the vendor's documentation package (.zip, .7z or folder): each pin's channel on every site, supply sense lines, which bit drives each relay, and trace skew between sites.
  • Before the board exists: a proposed channel map from the test house's tester configuration, keeping shared instruments (such as the J750 BPMU) to one site, ready to send to the board vendor.
  • Teach a tester: learns a new tester's syntax from reference programs and manuals; nothing is marked Auto until its commands are confirmed.
  • Plan and track: spec to test plan with coverage, a target resource check, revision compare, TP History, and approval before release, with team roles and report review.
  • Works with ChipmATE: limit proposals from ChipmATE become Draft revisions here, and production results per revision come back.

Runs on your own PC; no program is uploaded anywhere. Equivalence checks work today where AgapATE can read the converted program back (Teradyne IG-XL).

New: AgapATE Lite, a free trial in your browser. Open a Teradyne J750 IG-XL text export (folder, .zip or .tgz), see its flow, limits, pins, levels and patterns, convert it to Chroma 3380, Advantest V93000 or Chroma 3650 with the source and converted code side by side, and emulate up to 2,000 units to an STDF file. The program is read on your PC and never uploaded; a made-up sample program is built in.

Gawa

Engineering workbench in your browser: circuits, PCBs, 3D parts, structures, houses, vehicles, chips, firmware and project plansEngineering software
All nine modules: free early previewBrowser and installable appWorks offline

One project file from idea to build: draw and simulate the circuit, lay out the board, model the enclosure, check the structure, and get the bill of materials, cost and plan. Gawa is Filipino for “make”.

  • Circuit builder and simulator (try it now, free during the preview): draw a schematic and run it, with chips such as the 555 timer and LM317, and import makers' SPICE models: DC, transient and AC (Bode) analysis, live voltages and currents, an oscilloscope, and design checks with good-practice tips, plus a parts list with cost estimates. Exports SPICE netlists for LTspice and ngspice.
  • Firmware (try it now, new in 1.1): put an Arduino Nano in the circuit, write its Arduino code and run it: the LEDs, buttons and voltages you drew react to the program, with a serial monitor and a pin view. Take the .ino file to a real board.
  • PCB (try it now): turn the circuit into a board with real footprints, place parts, route two copper layers by hand or with the auto-router (track widths sized for the current), run design-rule checks, see it in 3D, and download Gerber, drill, pick-and-place and BOM files for any PCB maker, plus a netlist KiCad can read. New in 1.1: thermal checks (each part’s temperature, track heating) and, for semiconductor test boards, a channel map from the routed board for AgapATE’s Board checker.
  • 3D modelling (try it now): parts with exact dimensions from shapes, sketches and turned profiles, holes and patterns, and a one-click enclosure for your board with screw posts, connector openings and a lid. Print checks, weight, cost and print-time estimates; STL, 3MF and OBJ for 3D printers, DXF and SVG for laser cutters, and G-code for CNC routers (with holding tabs) and lasers.
  • Structures (try it now): draw beams, trusses and frames, add supports and loads, and see member forces, bending and shear diagrams, the deflected shape and support reactions as you edit; each member is checked for stress, shear, buckling and deflection in steel, aluminium, timber or concrete, with standard I-beams, tubes and timber sizes, and a report to hand to your engineer.
  • Building (try it now, new in 1.2): plan a house or small building room by room and floor by floor; the walls follow the rooms. Add doors, windows and stairs, see it in 3D, and check it against the Philippines' National Building Code (PD 1096), Singapore's or the US residential code: room sizes, ceiling heights, windows for light and air, stairs, exits and setbacks. It estimates hollow blocks, cement, steel bars, roofing and finishes with the cost per m², and exports a DXF floor plan. For learning and early design; a licensed architect and engineer prepare the plans for a permit.
  • Vehicle (try it now, new in 1.2): lay out an e-bike, go-kart, electric tricycle, small electric car or trailer from its parts and their weights. See the balance and axle loads, whether it would tip in a hard turn before its tyres slide, and its top speed, hill climbing, range, braking and turning circle.
  • Plan and cost (try it now): one budget from the whole project (parts, boards, 3D parts, structural steel, labour, contingency and tax, in pesos, dollars or your currency), the cost of each unit as the batch grows, a schedule with the critical path, what still blocks the build, and checklists for boards (IPC), 3D printing, machining and structures. Exports to spreadsheets, your calendar and a one-page report.
  • Board-exam reviewer (try it now, free): practise for the PRC licensure exams (Electronics Engineer and Technician, Electrical Engineer and Master Electrician, Mechanical and Civil Engineer) with worked solutions and a link to the Library topic, timed mock exams that follow the PRC subject weights and passing rules, drills that bring back what you missed, formula flashcards and a scientific calculator. Works offline; your progress stays on your device. Open the Reviewer
  • Chip (try it now): write digital logic in Verilog and see it simulate as you type, with a waveform viewer; get its size and speed (gates, flip-flops, FPGA lookup tables, silicon area, fastest clock), then export a testbench, an iCE40 FPGA project, or a Tiny Tapeout project for real silicon on a shared SkyWater 130 nm run. For learning and prototypes, not sign-off of commercial chips.

Results are for learning and early design; anything people stand under still needs a licensed engineer’s sign-off. Exchange formats are open standards; proprietary file types of other CAD tools are not written.

Timpla

Chef's companion: invent new recipes from 17 cuisines, with nutrition, taste balance, allergens and cost for every recipeApps
FREE app from Golden Boy LabsNew: CommunityBrowser and installable appWorks offline

Pick a cuisine and a dish, and Timpla drafts a balanced recipe, then checks it the way a kitchen needs: what it gives per serving, how it tastes against the cuisine's usual, who cannot eat it, and what a plate costs. Timpla is Filipino for “season” or “mix”.

  • Invent: 17 cuisines in four regions (Asia: Filipino, Thai, Japanese; Europe: French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, German; Western Asia: Levantine, Turkish, Persian, Gulf Arabian; USA: Southern, Tex-Mex, Cajun & Creole, New England, Californian) and seven dish types, or fuse two cuisines. Every idea is a starting point to taste and adjust.
  • Nutrition for every recipe: energy, protein, fat, carbohydrate, sugars, fibre and salt per serving and per 100 g, with the cooking loss counted, and % of an adult's reference intake.
  • Taste balance: salty, sour, sweet, bitter, umami and heat against how the dish usually tastes in that cuisine, so a swap that throws it off shows at once.
  • Limits and diets: the 14 major allergens, vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, and per-serving limits for calories, protein, sodium, sugar and cost; Timpla trims salt, fat or portions and says what it changed.
  • Cost and price: your suppliers' prices, cost per plate, and a menu price at your food-cost target with VAT.
  • Recipe book and cooking mode: edit, swap, scale (salt and spice scaled gently), keep versions, print recipe cards, and cook step by step with timers and the screen kept on. Recipes stay on your device; export them any time.
  • New in 0.4, the Timpla Community: share a recipe you made with Timpla and cooked; once checked it gets the Legit Timpla Recipe seal and joins the Timpla Recipe Library with your name. Browse the top recipes of the week and month, press "I cooked this", save other chefs' recipes to your book, remix them with credit, and share the link with #Timpla.
  • New in 0.3, any country: your currency, tax and service charge, with the starting prices converted, or start with your own.
  • New in 0.2, the kitchen: menu costing with your menu prices, food cost and money left per plate; yields for trim and peel; production plans with prep lists and the order to place, after what is in stock; stock with use-by dates; and food-safety records (fridge, freezer, hot holding and cooking temperatures, and two-stage cooling) with who checked and what was done, exportable as CSV.

Nutrition values are estimates from a built-in food table (you can add your own foods or import a table). A packaged-food Nutrition Facts label needs lab analysis or a nutritionist's check.

Guhit

Draw your characters, then puff them up in 3DApps

A drawing app for kids who love cartoons: draw your own character part by part, then puff it up into a soft 3D toy and make it move. Free, in your browser, with a finger, a stylus or a mouse, and it installs as an app that works offline.

NewFreeFor kids3DWorks offline

Guhit

Draw with a pen, marker, crayon and fill bucket, one part at a time: a body, a head, arms, a hat. Tap Puff it up! and each part becomes soft and round in 3D, stacked front to back. Turn it around, move the light, then make it bounce, wave, spin or jump, and save a photo. Then tap Story to make a story frame by frame: scenes, speech and thought bubbles, stickers, your own voice, played back as a flipbook and saved as a video, a GIF or comic pages to print. Drawings and stories are kept on the device.

For parents
  • No accounts, no chat, no ads: nothing to sign up for and no strangers.
  • Drawings stay on the device: nothing your child draws is sent anywhere.
  • No sharing with others: save a picture or a file yourself, if you want to.
  • Works offline once it has opened, on tablets, phones and computers.

Made for kids about 6 to 12 who love drawing cartoon characters. The only thing Guhit sends is the same anonymous "opened today" count every Golden Boy Labs app makes.

Salpakan: Apat na Hukbo 3D

Four armies, hidden ranks: a strategy game for your browser, on desktop and phoneGames
Early accessFree to play1 to 4 playersOnline rooms

Salpakan is the Filipino game of hidden ranks: you know your own army, the enemy's is a mystery, and an arbiter decides every clash. Apat na Hukbo 3D brings it to a burning battlefield for four armies.

Made in honour of Sofronio H. Pasola Jr., who created Salpakan, the Game of the Generals, in 1970. Apat na Hukbo 3D keeps the heart of his game, the hidden ranks, the arbiter and the Spy that can topple a General, and evolves it with new rules for a new generation. An independent tribute, not affiliated with the Pasola family or the publishers of Game of the Generals.

  • Four armies, one field: a plus-shaped board with an army on each arm. Every army for itself, or 2 vs 2 with your ally across the field.
  • Six battlefields: Scorched Plains, Jungle, Seashore, City Ruins, Desert and Winter Front, each with its own weather and scenery, plus optional obstacles that block squares in no-man's-land.
  • Generals from history: face Alexander the Great, Andres Bonifacio, Subutai, Sun Tzu, Antonio Luna, Lapu-Lapu and more, each with his own style, at four levels from Recruit to Legend.
  • Play now or with friends: three computer generals are ready any time, or open an online room and share its code. Empty seats are filled by the computer.
  • Promotions: a piece that wins two challenges can rise a rank. A Private can refuse and stay a Spy hunter. If a 5-star General falls, the next officer takes command.
  • Captured armies: in free-for-all the survivors join their captor; in 2 vs 2 they become prisoners of war.
  • Team radio: chat with everyone or only your ally, and choose whether allies see each other's ranks.
  • A uniform for every rank: generals in greatcoats, colonels in berets, spies in trench coats, privates with fixed bayonets, while the enemy hides behind gas masks.

The Last Moon · Ang Huling Buwan

Adult epic fantasy by Qoheleth III, in English and FilipinoFiction

Seven moons once hung over the Archipelago. The Bakunawa devoured six. Six novels weave the epics of Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao into one story, from the making of the moons to the song that brings them home.

The Making of the Seven Moons

Who was the keeper, and who sang the first lie?

Before the Bakunawa was a monster, it was a keeper. When Bathala dies and the sky is left in pieces, Alunsina gathers seven orphaned lights and makes them moons, and a great serpent is born to carry them through the dark. For an age it sings them a low song so they will not be afraid. Then two island peoples go to war, and a young singer of the eastern sea is asked to sing something that is not true.

The Twins

How does the greatest singer in the Archipelago become the Forgetter?

Sinang and Sumilang were born in Nalbuan with the gift of gunita: songs that live in the body, and take a memory from the singer every time. Raised by the last great babaylan of the North, the twins climb Maria Makiling’s mountain one night and sing by her spring until dawn. Sinang learns when to stop. Sumilang never does. He wants every epic in the Archipelago, and every song takes something: his mother, his own face, and at last his sister.

The Golden Rooster

Can a hero swallowed by the sea live again?

Long ago, seven moons hung over the Archipelago. The Bakunawa devoured six. Now the last one is turning red. On the night it bleeds, Hiraya, the last student of the last babaylan of Nalbuan, loses her grandmother to the Pipi, the soldiers of the Forgetter who gave up their own names, and is left with one command: find the rooster. To save the moon she must raise Lam-ang, the hero the sea swallowed three hundred years ago, and every song she sings to do it will cost her a memory.

The Sea of Seven Siblings

To whom is a heart that loves many truly loyal?

The moon was saved, but Hiraya paid with her memories, and Lam-ang is gone, swallowed by the serpent. Following a silver thread south by balangay, Hiraya and Banaag sail into the Visayas and up the Halawod, where Labaw Donggon still lies captive and Saragnayan, lord of darkness, has made an ally of the Forgetter. Inside the Bakunawa, Lam-ang finds the six devoured moons, each a world frozen at the moment it was swallowed, and learns what his epic never taught him: how to wait.

The Darangen of the Last Moon

What will a people give to be remembered?

Two moons hang over the Archipelago, and the Forgetter has fled south with the Pipi, the serpent close behind. On the shore of the great lake of Ranao, Hiraya meets Bai Linamin, keeper of the Darangen, an epic so long that no single person can hold it. To bring back the soul of Bantugan she must climb the lightning to the sky, where the last moon has a wish of her own. To bring the seven moons home, every epic must be sung at once, and the price is the singer’s whole memory.

The Sequel

Biag ni Hiraya

Can you make a new song when you have forgotten all the old ones?

There are seven moons again, and Hiraya has nothing: no grandmother, no village, not even her own name. She knows one face, Banaag’s, and every morning he sits beside her and sings her life back to her, badly and slowly. Then the youngest moon begins to fade. The moons are kept alight by songs, and no one has made a new epic in a thousand years. The road to save them runs up the keeper’s back to the Garden of Lamps, where a lamp with Hiraya’s own face is still burning.

Reading order: the two prequels, Books I to III, then Biag ni Hiraya. The prequels can also be read after the trilogy. eBooks in PDF; the full Book I and both prequels are also being serialized free, in English on Royal Road and in Filipino on Wattpad.

About

A small lab with a test engineer's habits

Golden Boy Labs is an independent software and publishing studio in the Philippines. It started on a semiconductor test floor, where every decision rests on data that has to be checked twice.

We build tools the way a qualification is run: start from the standard, write down the criteria, test on real data, and keep the results where the owner can see them. That is why ChipmATE runs offline, why its pass and fail rules are visible and editable, and why our trading tools show their rules before they trade.

Golden Boy Labs is the home of six product lines: engineering software for semiconductor test (ChipmATE and AgapATE), custom software for small businesses, GoldenBoyFX Tools for traders, trading eBooks, games for the evenings after, and The Last Moon, an epic fantasy series.

Our mark

Three g’s, walking together

  • Three g’s for Golden Boy Labs, and for growth.
  • Gold, silver and bronze: every finish counts, a better yield, a passed challenge, a story finished.
  • A triangle pointing up: the strongest shape in engineering, and a sign of rising.
  • Linked in a circle: gold over silver, silver over bronze, bronze over gold. No one stays on top; each one holds up the next. That is synergy, and the spirit of agapay: walking together and helping each other along.

Walking together, each holding up the next: the way we build tools, so every finish counts.

For our founder it also means synodality, from his Catholic faith: from the Greek for “walking the road together”, a community where everyone journeys side by side and no one walks alone.
